HEALTH CENTRE FOR RAILWAY EMPLOYEES INAUGURATED

ARA-----------------------The Railways has taken a significant step towards providing better healthcare facilities to serving and retired railway employees. A state-of-the-art health center, constructed at a cost of approximately ₹80 lakh using the Indian Railway Finance Corporation's (IRFC) CSR funds, was inaugurated in Ara. The inauguration ceremony was attended by IRFC CMD Manoj Kumar Dubey, East Central Railway General Manager Chhatrapal Singh, Danapur DRM Vinod Kumar, and several other senior railway officials and dignitaries.

The newly established health center is expected to benefit over two lakh serving and retired railway employees and their dependents in Ara and surrounding areas by providing improved healthcare services. Equipped with modern amenities, this center will play a crucial role in making healthcare services more accessible and effective for railway staff at the local level.

Speakers at the event emphasized that providing quality healthcare to railway employees and their families is a priority for the Railways. This health center, established through CSR initiatives, represents a commendable effort towards social responsibility and public welfare. Its opening will reduce the need for railway employees and retirees to travel long distances for medical treatment; having medical facilities available locally will save both time and money. The center, featuring modern healthcare facilities, will contribute significantly to safeguarding the health of railway employees.
