ARA-------------------------The RYA and CPI(ML) team inspected several primary schools in the Abarpul, Moti Tola, and Shri Tola areas of Ara city today. The schools inspected included Urdu Primary School (Abarpul), Yashoda Kanya Middle School (Abarpul), Primary School (Shri Tola), and Primary School (Moti Tola Bus Stand/Ambedkar Nagar).

The team found that the Urdu Primary School in Abarpul operates out of a single room; this one room houses the toilet, drinking water facility, and the school office, while also serving as the classroom for grades 1 through 5—all managed by four teachers. This situation epitomizes the abysmal state of Bihar's education system.

At Yashoda Kanya Middle School in Abarpul, classes for grades 1 through 8 are conducted in just two rooms—one of which measures only 10x10 feet—despite an enrollment of 90 female students in the sixth grade alone; the building is dilapidated, and the government is running the school while putting the students' lives at risk. Meanwhile, near the Moti Tola Bus Stand, the government is running three separate schools within a single building, with up to five different classes being conducted in one room. Additionally, the Ahiyapur Upgraded School was shifted to the premises of these three primary schools due to a road-widening project, resulting in 70 percent of the students ceasing to attend. CPI(ML) State Standing Committee member and former Ara Assembly candidate Qayamuddin Ansari stated that inspections conducted under the "Education Reforms and Fix Schools" campaign reveal that Bihar's education system has collapsed; one can clearly witness the mismanagement and rot within the school system. Ansari remarked that the Bihar government is playing with the children's future, going so far as to operate schools in dilapidated buildings without any regard for the students' safety or lives.

CPI(ML) State Committee member and Ara City Secretary Sudhir Singh highlighted the abysmal conditions, noting the lack of proper access paths to schools—which are instead filled with mud, dung, and stagnant water—and the absence of benches, forcing children to sit on floor mats while studying; he vowed to raise a voice against this situation.

Sudhir Singh called upon people to travel to Patna to participate in a gathering of "Gen Z" and "Gen Alpha" scheduled for September 6, 2026, at the Sri Krishna Memorial Hall—an event organized as part of the movement against this dilapidated education system.

The inspection team included City Secretary Sudhir Kumar, Qayamuddin Ansari, Rajendra Yadav, Faiz Ahmed (alias Rajan), Vikas Kumar, and Md. Munna.
