ARA--------------------------A minor dispute escalated into violence on Monday morning in Lasadhi village, located within the Garhani police station area. Following an argument sparked by mud splashing, armed miscreants shot the son of a railway employee, causing panic in the area.
According to available information, the injured youth has been identified as 32-year-old Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Lasadhi village. Jitendra's father, Ramesh Kumar Singh, works as a Railway Lighting Inspector for the Railways in Danapur. On Monday morning, while Jitendra was heading out for some work, the accused launched a life-threatening attack on him following a dispute over mud splashes.
During the assault, the miscreants shot Jitendra in his left leg just above the knee; the bullet passed right through. Immediately after the incident, he was rushed to Ara Sadar Hospital with the help of locals, and his condition is reported to be out of danger. Upon receiving news of the incident, Garhani Station House Officer (SHO) Kamaljit arrived at the scene with his team and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
