BUXAR--------------------------A massive foot march was organized on Wednesday under the aegis of the Rashtriya Parashuram Parishad to demand social justice and rights. Starting from Jyoti Chowk, the march reached the District Collectorate, where a large number of people from the 'Upper Caste' (Savarna) and OBC communities raised their voices in support of various demands.

During the march, the Parishad demanded the formulation of effective provisions to curb the alleged misuse of the SC/ST Act, the implementation of reservation based on economic status instead of caste, the declaration of Lord Parashuram Jayanti as a national holiday, and the constitution of a National Commission for the Upper Castes (Savarna Aayog).

Following the conclusion of the march, office-bearers of the Parishad submitted a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister through the district administration. The memorandum urged the Central Government to seriously consider these demands and take necessary action.

District President Durgesh Upadhyay 'Vidrohi' stated that the foot march was an effort to convey issues related to social justice, equality, and rights to the government in a democratic manner. He added that the Parishad seeks solutions to the problems faced by various social sections within the constitutional framework.

A large number of activists and social workers were present at the event, including State General Secretary Nandkumar Tiwari, State Spokesperson Mallikarjun Rai, District General Secretary Rahul Rai, Abhishek Mishra, Hare Ram Pandey, Deepanshu Rai, Amarnath Pandit, Riya Pathak, and Siddharth Pandey.
