BHABHUA---------------------------On the occasion of Wildlife Week 2026, the Kaimur Forest Division organized painting, essay, and quiz competitions for students on Saturday at the Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park. The objective of the event was to raise awareness among students regarding wildlife conservation, biodiversity, environmental protection, and natural resources, as well as to foster sensitivity towards nature. A total of 70 students from various schools within the Kaimur Forest Division area participated enthusiastically. Students from Upgraded Middle School Kudwa, Government High School Ramgarh, Government High School Saraiya, and High School Pahadiya took part in the event.

Through the painting and essay competitions, students showcased their creative talents on themes related to wildlife and environmental conservation. Meanwhile, in the quiz competition, participants demonstrated their knowledge of forests, wildlife, and the environment. Forest Department officials and staff informed the students about wildlife conservation, the protection of natural habitats, and the role every citizen plays in maintaining environmental balance. They also encouraged the students to become responsible citizens who are conscious of nature and wildlife conservation. The event saw active participation from both students and teachers. Forest Department officials stated that various programs are being organized during Wildlife Week 2026 to boost public awareness and ensure student participation, aiming to cultivate widespread awareness in society regarding wildlife conservation.
