ARA-------------------------More than 30 patients who arrived at Ara Sadar Hospital for CT scans had to wait for hours. The patients had been waiting for the examination since 10:00 AM. It is alleged that the concerned agency informed patients that the CT scan examinations would only take place after 4 PM, citing a lack of electricity. Upon learning of the situation, former MLA Bhai Dinesh wrote to the District Magistrate and the Civil Surgeon, demanding immediate alternative arrangements.

According to reports, more than 30 patients had been waiting at Sadar Hospital since around 10 AM to undergo CT scans. Patients and their families had to wait for hours for the procedure to begin, causing significant inconvenience.

Reportedly, the agency informed the patients that power would be restored at 4 PM, after which the CT scans could commence. The disruption caused by power or technical issues forced the patients to endure a long wait.

The matter was brought to the attention of former MLA Bhai Dinesh by residents of Mahurahi village, Jagdishpur. He subsequently wrote to the District Magistrate and the Civil Surgeon, urging immediate intervention and demanding alternative arrangements for the patients currently waiting for their scans.

Bhai Dinesh stated that patients visiting government hospitals are already grappling with illness and financial hardship; therefore, making them wait for hours for a medical test is unacceptable. He demanded that if the machine is inoperable due to power or technical issues, the administration must immediately arrange an alternative method for conducting the patients' tests.

The former MLA also demanded an explanation from the concerned agency. He asserted that if negligence or a violation of contract terms is proven, action must be taken against the responsible agency. He further called for the initiation of proceedings to blacklist the agency should serious negligence be established.

Bhai Dinesh emphasized that any compromise regarding patient health would not be tolerated. He urged the administration to implement measures ensuring that patient examinations are not disrupted in the future due to power outages or technical faults. Dinesh warned that if the patients' issues were not resolved promptly and appropriate action was not taken against those responsible, he would be compelled to launch a public agitation. He stated that it is the administration's responsibility to ensure timely testing and treatment for patients.
