OFFICE BEARERS ASSUME OFFICE

PATNA--------------------------The first meeting of the reconstituted executive committee and other committee officials of the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan was held on Wednesday in the conference auditorium. During the meeting, all officials were apprised of their duties and authority. It was mandated that all officials hold monthly meetings of their respective departmental committees and strictly adhere to the decisions made therein.

Prior to the meeting, all officials assumed their respective offices after taking an oath of allegiance administered by the Sammelan President, Dr. Anil Sulabh. The Sammelan’s Administrative Officer, Subedar Nandan Kumar Meet, felicitated the office bearers by presenting them with *Angavastrams* (traditional ceremonial stoles).

Those who assumed office today include Sammelan Vice-Presidents Dr. Shankar Prasad and Dr. Kalyani K The list of names includes Kusum Singh, Brajendra Kumar Sinha, Dr. Kumar Arunoday; Dr. Pushpa Jamuar (Minister for Folk Languages), Dr. Nageshwar Prasad Yadav (Library Minister), Vibharani Srivastava (Publicity Minister), Dr. Pallavi Biswas (Art Minister), Kiran Singh (President, Women Writers' Council), Dr. Shalini Pandey (Convener), Dr. Poonam Anand (Chairperson, Publication Committee) and Sagarika Rai (Convener), Dr. Mehta Nagendra Singh (Chairperson, Disciplinary Committee) and Sanjeev Kumar Mishra (Convener), Acharya Vijay Gunjan (Chairperson, Poetry Workshop Committee), Poonam Katriyar (Convener, Story Workshop Committee), Arun Kumar Srivastava (Convener, Competition Organizing Committee), Dr. Ankesh Kumar (President, Young Writers' Council), Chittaranjan Bharti (Convener, Literature Committee), Gyaneshwar Sharma (Convener, Finance Committee), Surya Prakash Upadhyay (Convener, Management Committee), Jyoti Mishra (Convener, Art Committee), Brahmanand Pandey (Convener, Publicity Committee), Pt. Ganesh Jha (Convener, Library Committee), Sadanand Prasad (Convener, Organization Committee), and Prof. Sunil Kumar Upadhyay (Convener, Folk Language Committee). Dr. Upendranath Pandey (General Secretary of the Conference), Er. Ashok Kumar (Organization Secretary), Krishna Ranjan Singh (Management Secretary), and Pravir Kumar Pankaj (Minister for Building Custody and Campus Development) had already assumed their respective offices on September 26.

Conference Vice-Presidents Jialal Arya, Dr. Shivvansh Pandey, and Dr. Madhu Verma could not attend due to health reasons.
