ARA------------------------A mothers' meeting (*Matru Goshthi*) was organized at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Agiaon Bazar. Such meetings serve as a vital link in the holistic development of the students. Through this forum, information regarding various activities is exchanged, and suggestions are shared to facilitate goal achievement and ensure a bright future for the students. Furthermore, raising awareness about our culture and civilization is the need of the hour and a top priority for all-round development. Preserving the nation's culture and civilization amidst today's challenging circumstances must be a primary concern, given the worrying state of affairs in the country. This situation arises because we are either forgetting our culture, are unaware of it, or simply do not wish to learn about it. The organization 'Vidya Bharati' has been working for years in the field of education to preserve this heritage. Students studying in affiliated schools like Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Vidya Mandir are consistently educated about their culture—a practice that will continue in the future. Moreover, children gain practical knowledge through hands-on activities, allowing them to experience these values ​​firsthand and incorporate them into their lives, ultimately yielding positive results for the nation. It is a recognized truth that a country's progress is driven by its culture and civilization. Parents, too, need to reflect deeply on these matters. To foster this, Vidya Bharati provides books not only for the students but also for parents to support the cause of our national culture. These books, which embody the philosophy of Indian culture, are sourced from Kurukshetra. Additionally, an examination based on these books is conducted in December; answer sheets are evaluated, results are announced, and participants are awarded certificates. Therefore, it is essential for us to acquire and read these books—benefiting ourselves first so that we can, in turn, benefit our children. We seek your cooperation in spreading this message within your respective communities to help eradicate the distortions that have crept into the nation. It is observed that people are drifting away from their own culture and gravitating towards Western culture, leading to occasional states of disorder. These factors erode the nation's pride, honor, and prosperity; there is an urgent need to safeguard these values ​​today. Our culture has never been like this. Past attempts to destroy our culture failed, but we must remain vigilant to ensure such attempts never succeed in the future; we need to deepen the roots of our culture. Therefore, it is essential to nurture, care for, and prepare the young generation—likened here to tender saplings—for the future. This is possible only through mutual cooperation. Collective effort is required to ensure that every individual in society becomes aware of this. These points were highlighted by the school principal, Anil Kumar Singh, in his address.

Earlier, the principal, along with 'Didiji' and the mothers of the students, inaugurated the 'Matru Goshthi' (Mothers' Gathering) by collectively lighting a lamp and offering flowers before the portrait. Presiding over the gathering, Smt. Neelam Tiwari spoke about balancing one's own education with instilling values ​​in children; she emphasized that a spirit of dedication towards parents and teachers, respect for elders, and affection for children are the hallmarks of our culture.

Teacher Saurabh Kumar Singh introduced the mothers, and the contributions of 'Didiji'—Ms. Mohini Kumari, Lakshmi Kumari, and Priyanka Kumari—were also commendable. The gathering concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.
