ARA--------------------------On the eve of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan's birth anniversary, a seminar was organized at Kaushalya Bhavan in Madan Ji Ka Hata to pay respectful tribute to the leader. Social activist Shivdas Singh presided over the seminar, while the chief guest was Professor Baliraj Thakur—President of the Bhojpur District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan and a Senator at Veer Kunwar Singh University.

In his address, Professor Baliraj Thakur stated that Jayaprakash Narayan was a great freedom fighter, a socialist leader, and the architect of the 'Total Revolution' (Sampoorna Kranti). He dedicated his entire life to safeguarding democracy, ensuring social justice, and upholding the rights of the common people. His call for a 'Total Revolution' was not merely a movement but a demand for systemic change and a powerful expression of the people's will.

J.P. considered political parties to be primarily responsible for corrupting democracy; he observed that parties and candidates spend excessive amounts of money to win elections.

Presiding over the event, Shivdas Singh remarked that Jayaprakash Babu was a valiant warrior of the freedom struggle and played a pivotal role in bringing about a change in power. Criticizing both the Central and Bihar governments, Singh stated that neither administration was heeding the demands of the people of the Bhojpur region or paying attention to its development. He announced that a phased agitation would be launched starting October 20 (Vijayadashami) to address this. The proceedings were conducted by Ajay Singh, the welcome address was delivered by Prabhat Kumar Singh, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Pintu Singh.

Dr. Sheel Bhadra, Suresh Prasad, Shivcharan (alias Chandan), Mantu Singh, Dr. Vijay Shankar, Vicky Rai, Ramesh Singh 'Prapann', Jitendra Singh, and Amardeep Jai also shared their views.
