Dr. ANIL SULABH AUTHORISED TO FORM NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Dr. Anil Sulabh, the re-elected President of the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, has been authorized to constitute the executive committee for the upcoming term. This authority was entrusted to the President following the unanimous passing of a resolution during a meeting of the 'Sthayi Samiti' (Standing Committee)—the governing body of the Sammelan—held on Wednesday at the Sammelan auditorium in Kadamkuan. Addressing the first meeting of the Standing Committee—convened within one month of his election as the Conference President in accordance with the rules—Dr. Anil Sulabh expressed his gratitude to all members for electing him President unopposed for the fourth time and assured them that he would discharge his duties and responsibilities with renewed zeal. He highlighted the significant work undertaken by the Conference over the past decade, noting that an average of 125 events were organized annually during this period—a feat that could potentially constitute a world record. He pointed out that while only one session had been held in the 40 years prior to his first term as President, 11 grand sessions took place during his 14-year tenure. The conference’s journal, "Sammelan-Sahitya," is currently being published, alongside more than fifty other books. During the centenary year of the organization's founding, 100 distinguished women, 100 scholars, and 100 young litterateurs from across the country were honored with the historic "Centenary Award." Today, the organization has successfully regained its former glory, and its renown has transcended national borders to reach far across the seas.
