AWARENESS CAMP FOR CHILD MARRIAGE FREE INDIA

SASARAM-------------------------An awareness camp was organized on Sunday at Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model School in Premnagar as part of the 'Child Marriage-Free India' campaign.

The camp aimed to educate female students about the adverse effects of child marriage, the importance of education, and the rights of girls. Through the 'Sakhi Varta' initiative, the Women and Child Development Corporation, Rohtas, provided information to the students regarding health, safety, and legal rights.

Speaking on the occasion, District Project Manager Mohammad Shamim Ansari stated that education, awareness, and collective participation are essential to building a society free from child marriage. Families, schools, and society must work together to achieve this.

During the program, the students pledged to oppose child marriage and promote education. Finally, diaries featuring the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter) logo, pens, and refreshments were distributed among all the students.
