ALUMNI SET AN EXAPLE:DM

SASARAM--------------------------Alumni of Uchcha Madhyamik Vidyalaya (Higher Secondary School) Bhaisahi—who are now serving in various fields—voluntarily donated essential items worth lakhs of rupees, including computers, an inverter, a printer, and a hand pump, to the students currently studying at the school. Rohtas District Magistrate Deepak Kumar, present as the chief guest, praised the villagers of Bhaisahi and highly commended senior journalist Akhilesh Kumar, a local resident who played a leading role in this initiative. He remarked that the tradition of supporting or donating to government schools is fading in the current climate; however, Akhilesh’s initiative—coordinating with the headmaster and mobilizing affluent alumni to arrange these educational resources—is truly praiseworthy. He added that this example should be emulated in every government school across the district. The District Magistrate honored individuals who provided supplies for the school, including Ramakant Rai, Brajesh Rai, Karan Kumar Golu, Lakshman Rai, and Kushnath Rai. Presiding over the event, senior journalist Akhilesh Kumar (a resident of Bhaisahi) remarked that every school has alumni whose small contributions can provide significant support to current students. The District Magistrate also appreciated the exhibition organized by the children.

Pramila Kumari, Principal of Higher Secondary School Bhaisahi, welcomed the District Magistrate and other guests by presenting them with traditional stoles (*angavastras*) and flower bouquets. Vijay Kumar, Headmaster of the Middle School, delivered the vote of thanks. Teachers Sushil Kumar and Alok Singh made commendable contributions to the success of the event.
