ARA--------------------------Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU) has taken a significant step to strengthen its administrative setup. The university has issued orders to re-deploy 15 non-teaching staff members to various state-run degree colleges. A notification regarding this has been issued by the Registrar's office, with instructions for immediate implementation.
According to the university administration, this decision was taken in light of directives from the State Government's Higher Education Department. The primary objective is to streamline administrative operations in newly established and operational state degree colleges, ensuring that both academic and office activities proceed without hindrance.
As per the notification, the re-deployed staff members were previously working in various constituent colleges of the university. The group includes employees holding positions such as Upper Division Clerks, Lower Division Clerks, Assistants, and Sarathis (support staff).
These personnel have been assigned to state degree colleges across districts including Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, and Kaimur. The university has issued clear instructions requiring all concerned staff to report for duty at their new workplaces on time.
The university administration believes that this re-deployment will accelerate administrative work in both new and existing colleges. Administrative tasks in several colleges had been hampered by staff shortages—an issue this move aims to resolve.
This step is seen as a welcome relief, particularly for colleges that previously lacked adequate staffing. It will also indirectly benefit students, as administrative processes can now be completed more efficiently.
Copies of the notification have been sent to the principals of the respective colleges, the Higher Education Department, the Raj Bhavan Secretariat, and the District Magistrates of the concerned districts, with instructions to ensure necessary action is taken. The university administration has also clarified that this entire decision has been taken in accordance with state government guidelines, and similar measures may be adopted in the future as the need arises.
This decision indicates that the university and the government are making continuous, collaborative efforts to improve the higher education system. Its impact on the functioning of colleges and the facilities available to students will be clearly visible in the near future.
