ARA-----------------------Police have arrested two accused individuals involved in an attack on a Home Guard jawan who was on duty at the private bus stand in the Nawada police station area of Ara city on Monday morning. They were arrested at their respective homes in the Sri Tola and Bypass Road-Jawahar Tola localities.
The arrested accused are Rajesh Kumar (son of Shyam Prasad, a resident of Bypass Road-Jawahar Tola) and Gupteshwar Kumar (son of Jayram Paswan, a resident of Sri Tola). Rajesh Kumar is reportedly an accused not named in the initial FIR. Police are conducting raids to apprehend the other accused.
It is worth noting that on Monday morning, Home Guard jawan Rupesh Ranjan—son of Rajnandan Prasad Sinha and a resident of Maulabag in the Nawada police station area—was on duty at the private bus stand. At that time, an e-rickshaw driver parked his vehicle right in front of the bus stand gate.
A dispute subsequently arose between the Home Guard jawan and the e-rickshaw drivers regarding the removal of the e-rickshaw. During the altercation, the e-rickshaw drivers... A Home Guard jawan was beaten up, leaving him seriously injured. Following this, the jawan, Rupesh Ranjan, lodged an FIR at the Nawada police station against five named individuals and other unidentified persons.
