BUXAR---------------------------India's great sage, Saint Lakshmi Prapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj, while giving a discourse in Agred village, said that a person who abandons culture, traditions, saints, history, scriptures, and moral values should be abandoned. In the Krishna avatar, Lord Shri Krishna stood with truth till the end for the victory of truth over falsehood in society, but when his own family members started disrespecting society, culture, civilization, honesty, saints, sages, history, and scriptures, Lord Shri Krishna abandoned his own people.
From this, we all receive the message that no matter who the person is, even if it is someone from our own family, if they behave disrespectfully towards society, culture, saints, sages, and religion, we should definitely maintain our distance from them. Because such a person is not beneficial for the welfare of society, the state, or the country. Rather, he is like a burden on the earth. No matter how much the population increases on Mother Earth, Mother Earth never feels burdened. But when the number of such people increases on Earth who are wicked, who corrupt society and culture, and who continuously perform wrong deeds on Earth, then Mother Earth starts feeling burdened by such people.
Lord Shri Krishna's avatar was to bring victory to truth over falsehood. But when his own family members started misbehaving with saints and sages, Lord Krishna was very saddened by their behavior. Therefore, all beings should keep their conduct righteous.
In the Rama avatar, once Sita also forced Lakshman to abandon his moral values, which resulted in very negative consequences. Lord Rama had ordered Lakshman to guard Sita and went to catch the deceptive deer. But Sita, using harsh words, forced Lakshman to break Lord Rama's promise. Therefore, all living beings should always follow their religion, conduct, behavior, and diet with discernment and wisdom in all circumstances.
