BUXAR-------------------------------Thieves carried out a major crime in Nuaon village, under the jurisdiction of the Krishnabrahm police station, targeting three houses in a single night. The theft of property worth lakhs of rupees has spread panic across the area.

According to reports, the thieves raided the homes of villagers Lalbabu Singh, Satish Kumar Singh, and Sanjay Singh, stealing jewelry valued at over ₹40 lakh and more than ₹2 lakh in cash. Villagers claim that the miscreants used an intoxicating spray during the incident, causing all family members to remain in a deep sleep; consequently, no one even sensed the theft taking place.

After the theft, the miscreants locked the room doors from the outside, trapping the family members inside all night. When the residents woke up on Thursday morning, they found their belongings scattered. The locks on cupboards and boxes were found broken, and the police were subsequently informed of the incident.

Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. A team comprising Circle Inspector Omprakash Kumar, Station House Officer (SHO) Ravi Kumar, the DIU team, and forensic experts inspected the site under the leadership of SDPO Polast Kumar. The police are investigating various angles, and efforts to identify and arrest the thieves have been intensified.

An atmosphere of fear and outrage prevails in the entire village following this major theft incident involving three houses in one night. Villagers have demanded that the police arrest the perpetrators and recover the stolen property as soon as possible.
