SASARAM-------------------------A grand special awareness program titled "Sakhi Varta" was organized at Indu Tapeshwar Singh Women's College, Bikramganj, under the aegis of the Women and Child Development Corporation and the Rohtas District Administration. The primary objective of the program was to address the issues faced by women and adolescent girls in society and to raise awareness about government schemes, social evils like child marriage, gender equality, women's safety, education, health, self-reliance, and various welfare initiatives. Representatives from the Women and Child Development Corporation, Rohtas, provided the students with detailed information regarding women's rights, cyber security, the dowry system, domestic violence, the women's helpline, and various government-run welfare schemes. Students were encouraged to fearlessly seek assistance from the relevant departments and the women's helpline (181) in the event of any problem or situation involving violence. At the conclusion of the program, all students and teachers present took a pledge—as part of the 'Child Marriage-Free India' campaign—neither to engage in child marriage nor to allow it to happen. Major Action by Railway Protection Force (RPF), Dehri-on-Sone

Rohtas: A large quantity of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was recovered in an unclaimed state from Train No. 02398 Down and handed over to the Sonnagar Rail Police Station. Acting on a tip-off and under the direction of Senior Divisional Security Commissioner (DDU) Dinesh Singh Tomar, a team from RPF Post Dehri-on-Sone—led by the Post In-charge and comprising Sub-Inspectors Amarjit Das and Manoj Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar Chaudhary, and Constables Abhimanyu Singh, Umesh Kumar Singh, Munna Kumar Gond, and Dipesh Kumar—conducted a search. They inspected the 'Divyang' (disabled-friendly) coach at the rear of Train No. 02398 Down between Dehri-on-Sone and Anugrah Narayan Road stations. During the search, they recovered a total of 132 liters of IMFL—comprising 115 bottles of Royal Stag and 61 bottles of Blender's Pride, with an estimated value of ₹1,42,300—concealed within the plywood structure above the coach's lavatory. The liquor was unloaded onto Platform No. 3 at Anugrah Narayan Road station. Following necessary on-site procedures and seizure, Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar handed over the entire consignment, along with a written complaint, to the Sonnagar Rail Police Station for further legal action.
