BUXAR-----------------------Prashant Kishor, the architect of the Jan Suraj Party, arrived in Buxar on Sunday, where he held a meeting with senior party leaders and organizational workers at the Ashirwad Banquet Hall in Naya Bazar. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the strengthening of the organization and future strategies.
Speaking on the occasion, Prashant Kishor stated that following the election results, leaders of Jan Suraj had observed a one-day fast at the Bhitiharwa Gandhi Ashram in West Champaran. At that time, Jan Suraj had announced that the newly formed government in Bihar would be given a six-month window to fulfill its electoral promises. Subsequently, under the banner of the 'Bihar Navnirman Abhiyan' (Bihar Reconstruction Campaign), Jan Suraj workers would go door-to-door to present their views directly to the public.
He added that, in order to effectively sustain the Bihar Navnirman Abhiyan over the next five years, he is currently visiting every district to undertake the task of reorganizing the party structure.
During the interaction, Prashant Kishor took aim at the government over the issue of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar potentially moving to the Rajya Sabha, asserting that the government did not, in fact, receive a genuine public mandate; rather, it is a "manufactured mandate." He alleged that this mandate was purchased by members of the BJP through the use of money power. He further argued that since the public mandate was not secured in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's name, his eventual departure is inevitable.
Responding to a question regarding a potential new Chief Minister, Prashant Kishor remarked that Bihar might end up with a Chief Minister whose "remote control" lies in Gujarat. He suggested that while government decisions might technically be formulated locally, they would ultimately be taken with the specific objective of benefiting the people of Gujarat.
Discussing future strategies, he stated that the public has chosen him to remain on the streets, and he intends to engage in "politics of the streets." He gave an assurance that whenever the public—or their children—face injustice, Jan Suraj will raise its voice in their defense with full strength and determination. Tathagat Harshvardhan, Divakar Pathak, Bajrangi Mishra, Manoj Upadhyay, former MLA Shrikant Pathak, Dhanji Pandey, Pramod Rai, Manoj Kumar, Anand Mishra, Mani Shankar Pandey, Dhananjay Paswan, Dr. Jitendra, Kanak Lata Singh, Subhash Ram, and other workers were present at the meeting.
