NEWLYWED WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN BUXAR VILLAGE

BUXAR (RNI) A newlywed woman committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of her house at Churamanpur village under Industrial police station in Buxar district. The deceased was identified as Neha Devi 22 wife of Umesh Singh of Churamanpur village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Industrial police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.

SHO Industrial police station said that Neha Devi was married to Umesh Singh on April 20, 2025. In the late evening on June 2, 2025, when Umesh Singh returned from his duty, he found the door of his room locked from inside. The called several times but the door was not opened and so he peeped through the window and found Neha hanging to the ceiling. He broke into the room and took down Neha with the help of his father Dhanpat Singh. The family members said that Neha had no difference with anyone and was living a normal life.
