ARA----------------------The grand National Foundation Day and idol unveiling ceremony, held within the premises of the Maa Kali Temple in Bakhorapur, Bhojpur district, has concluded successfully. The event was rendered historic by the presence of several senior ministers from the Government of Bihar, elected representatives, social activists, and thousands of devotees and villagers. Throughout the ceremony, various religious rituals, prayers, and cultural programs were organized. Amidst an atmosphere brimming with reverence and faith in Maa Kali, devotees offered prayers and sought blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and peace of the region. Meanwhile, guests speaking from the stage emphasized the need to further strengthen the religious and cultural identity of Bakhorapur.

The highlight of the program was the performance of the renowned 'Faruwahi' folk dance from the Purvanchal region. In an era where most cultural events are often dominated by vulgar and crude songs, the Faruwahi dance presented the dignity and tradition of folk culture in a vibrant and authentic manner. Through their traditional attire, folk songs, and dance style, the artists brought the rich cultural heritage of Purvanchal to life on stage.

The Faruwahi dance performance captivated the audience so deeply that people remained at the venue until late into the night. Performed to the melodious tunes of the *dhol* (drum), *manjira* (cymbals), and other traditional instruments, the folk dance left the assembled crowd spellbound. From the elderly to the youth and women alike, everyone thoroughly enjoyed this cultural extravaganza.

Local residents remarked that such events serve not merely as a means of entertainment, but also play a crucial role in connecting the younger generation with their culture, traditions, and folk arts. The Faruwahi dance performance conveyed a powerful message: if society actively preserves and promotes its folk culture, our cultural identity can remain safeguarded for generations to come. Regarding the successful organization of the event, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all the guests, artists, devotees, and local residents. Serving as a magnificent confluence of religious faith, cultural pride, and social unity, this event is bound to remain a cherished memory for the people of the region for a long time to come.
