MEETING FOR MODERNIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF VKS MUSEUM AND PARK

ARA--------------------------A crucial meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania regarding the modernization and redevelopment of the Veer Kunwar Singh Museum and Veer Kunwar Singh Park in Jagdishpur. The main objective of the meeting was to equip the museum and park complex with modern facilities, making it more attractive, informative, and useful for tourists and local citizens. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the overall development of the museum, modern exhibition systems, structural improvements, strengthening of visitor facilities, as well as the reconstruction and beautification of the pond area located within the park complex.

Following the meeting, the District Magistrate, along with the concerned officials, visited the Veer Kunwar Singh Museum and Park for a site inspection. During the inspection, he instructed that a proposal be sent to the Department of Art, Culture and Youth for the redevelopment of the museum and to give it a modern look to effectively showcase the glorious history and contributions of Veer Kunwar Singh. He also guided that the redevelopment of the park be carried out through the Department of Tourism, which includes the screening of films based on the life of Veer Kunwar Singh through a light and sound system, construction of a cafeteria, dynamic lighting, and the development of other necessary facilities.

In addition, the District Magistrate instructed the concerned officials to ensure the construction of a boundary wall, lighting system, adequate security arrangements, and beautification for the reconstruction and redevelopment of the pond located in the park complex. He emphasized the need to prepare a detailed action plan for all the proposed works and ensure their timely approval and implementation. The Deputy Development Commissioner, Special Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Jagdishpur, Block Development Officer Jagdishpur, officials from the Department of Tourism, and other concerned officers were present on this occasion
