ARA------------------------A grand mathematics project exhibition was organized on Friday at +2 High School, Piro, with the aim of fostering an interest in mathematics among students and explaining complex subjects like geometry through engaging, play-based methods. The Class 9 female students displayed such exceptional talent, logical reasoning, and creativity at the exhibition that everyone was left amazed. They beautifully showcased various attractive, practical, and scientifically grounded projects—specifically focused on the topic of 'Triangles'—on their display boards.

The highlights of the exhibition were the charts and working models created by the students, which scientifically illustrated the different types of triangles, their properties, the angle sum property, and the utility of geometry in daily life. Students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. Key participants included Tanu Kumari, Maya Kumari, Priti Kumari, Navya Kumari, Khushbu Kumari (A), Khushbu Kumari (B), Naz Parveen, Muskan Kumari, Shami Kumari, Sakshi, Soni, Chandni Kumari, Sandhya Kumari, Anushka Kumari, Rajnandini Kumari, Ruchi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Varsha Kumari. Through their respective projects, these students presented complex mathematical principles in a remarkably simple manner. Maya, Navya, and Rajnandini emerged as joint winners after a tough competition; the students' outstanding performances made selecting the winners a challenging task for the panel of judges. Ultimately, after evaluation based on rigorous criteria—including scientific understanding, presentation, and creativity—Maya Kumari, Navya Kumari, and Rajnandini Kumari were jointly awarded first place. The school's acting headmaster, Bhim Rai, honored the winning students with medals, prizes, and certificates of appreciation. Commending all the participants and wishing them a bright future, he remarked:

"Such co-curricular activities eliminate the tendency for rote learning. They foster mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, creativity, and, above all, self-confidence among students." "Our objective is to bring out the scientific spirit latent within the children."

The responsibility for ensuring the fairness and evaluation of the entire competition rested with the school's experienced teachers. Serving as the jury, teachers Manoj Kumar, Omprakash Singh, Arun Kumar Mishra, Prakash Chandra Ojha, Brajmohan Pathak, and Vikas Chandra meticulously examined all the projects and asked the students logical questions regarding their models. At the conclusion of the event, the teachers commended the students' efforts and encouraged them to actively participate in similar district- and state-level academic events in the future. This successful event has created an atmosphere of enthusiasm throughout the entire school community.
