JAL BHARI YATRA CONDUCTED

ARA----------------------------The *Jal Yatra* (ceremonial water procession) for the Sri Lakshmi Narayan Mahayagya was successfully conducted under the auspicious guidance of the great Indian sage and saint, Sri Lakshmi Prapanna Jeeyar Swami Ji Maharaj. Devotees and ritual hosts (*yajmans*) began arriving at the Parmanpur Yagya site as early as 6:00 AM; men, women, and children, clad in yellow attire and carrying *kalash* (sacred pots), gathered at the venue. The rituals for the procession commenced at 8:00 AM with *Gau Pujan* (worship of the cow), followed by the ceremonial worship of the principal *kalash* by the chief host, Sri Chhotelal Tiwari, in strict accordance with Vedic rites. After the rituals performed by the *Acharyas* (priests), the procession set out in an organized formation, featuring camels, horses, chariots, and a convoy of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles. Camels, horses, and chariots led the way, followed by thousands of devotees carrying sacred pots. The procession moved from Parmanpur, traversing the village en route to the Hathdiha pond. Along the way, the participants chanted and invoked the name of "Shriman Narayan" as they reached the pond. There, the *Acharyas* conducted the preliminary rituals and mantra chanting before the pots were filled with water. Subsequently, the devotees returned to the Parmanpur Yagya site with the filled pots. Meanwhile, the religious discourse (*Katha*) commenced on June 21, 2026, and is scheduled to continue daily until June 27.
