BUXAR-------------------------Addressing devotees during a spiritual discourse (*Katha*) held on Tuesday—the second day of the 73rd annual celebration at the Ram Janaki Temple in Dangauli village of this block—Shailesh Ji Maharaj stated that human beings must fulfill their duties in life while strictly adhering to the principles of propriety and moral conduct (*Maryada*).

He explained that Lord Ram was born for the purpose of vanquishing demons, and in the *Ramcharitmanas*, Goswami Tulsidas Ji has outlined the five fundamental reasons behind Lord Ram's incarnation.

Maharaj further emphasized that individuals should always seek out good company, as this enables both their personal lives and society at large to become imbued with virtuous values ​​and cultural refinement.

Citing the life of Lord Ram as an example, Maharaj highlighted how the Lord accepted a fourteen-year exile in the forest—in obedience to his father's command—specifically to uphold and protect the principles of *Maryada*. Throughout the discourse, he deeply moved the audience by narrating various episodes and anecdotes from the Lord's life.

Meanwhile, under the leadership of the event organizer, Ramkinkar Singh (alias Bhikhari Singh), a *Sohar* ceremony—celebrating the *Chhathiyar* (sixth-day birth ritual) of Lord Shri Ram—was also organized on Tuesday as part of the three-day annual festival. He announced that the festivities would conclude on Wednesday with the chanting of Vedic mantras, a sacred fire ritual (*Havan*), and a community feast (*Bhandara*). During the discourse, he deeply moved the audience through various anecdotes.
