FIREND SHOOTS COMPANION OVER MONETARY DISPUTE

ARA-------------------------In the Saheb Tola locality within the Bihiya police station area of ​​the district, a friend shot his own companion following a dispute over money. The injured youth sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh, leaving him critically wounded. He was rushed to the Bihiya Primary Health Centre (PHC) for medical treatment. Upon receiving the information, Bihiya Station House Officer (SHO) Sundeshwar Kumar arrived at the scene with a police force and immediately commenced an investigation into the matter.

On Sunday morning, the police summoned a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to the crime scene. The FSL team subsequently arrived and collected evidence. According to reports, the injured victim is Mahesh Kumar, a 25-year-old resident of the Saheb Tola locality under the Bihiya police station jurisdiction, and the son of the late Shivji Sah.

According to sources, Mahesh Kumar owed money to his friend, Hero Chaudhary—a resident of Saheb Tola—who was demanding repayment. An altercation ensued between the two over this issue, following which Hero Chaudhary shot him. Meanwhile, the injured Mahesh Kumar has lodged a named First Information Report (FIR) against Hero Chaudhary—also a resident of the Saheb Tola locality—accusing him of shooting him over the monetary dispute.

In this regard, Bihiya SHO Sundeshwar Kumar stated that the two individuals are friends who frequently socialize together. Mahesh Kumar owed Hero Chaudhary a sum of 200 rupees. On Sunday night, Hero Chaudhary had taken Mahesh Kumar along with him. Subsequently, while Hero Chaudhary was inspecting a weapon, it accidentally discharged, and the bullet struck Mahesh Kumar. The SHO confirmed that the injured Mahesh Kumar has filed a named FIR against Hero Chaudhary. Following the registration of the FIR, the police are conducting continuous raids in an effort to apprehend the accused.
