FIR OVER ABUSIVE SOCIAL MEDIA COMMENTS AGAINST MLA

BUXAR----------------------------An FIR has been registered at the Naya Bhojpur Police Station regarding alleged offensive comments made on social media against Dumraon MLA Rahul Kumar Singh. This action follows a formal complaint lodged by the MLA's associate, Monu Kumar Singh.

According to the complaint, Surendra Kumar, a resident of Navadera, is accused of sharing posts on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram on June 11 that used abusive, derogatory, and offensive language against MLA Rahul Kumar Singh.

The complainant alleges that the intent behind these posts was to tarnish the MLA's image and spread discord and unrest within society.

In his complaint, Monu Kumar Singh stated that the use of such language against public representatives not only hurts their dignity but can also adversely affect social harmony and law and order. Terming the matter serious, he demanded appropriate action.

Screenshots of the alleged social media posts have been submitted to the police as evidence along with the complaint. The police have registered a case based on the complaint and initiated an investigation.

Naya Bhojpur Station House Officer (SHO) Chandan Kumar confirmed the registration of the FIR and stated that the available evidence is being examined. He added that further legal action would be taken based on the facts and the outcome of the investigation.
