FATHER STABBED TO DEATH HIS DAUGHTER IN ROHTAS VILLAGE

SASARAM (RNI) Drunken father stabbed to death his daughter at Balchanwa village of Ghusiakhurd village under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district in the night. The deceased was identified as Jyoti Kumari 17 daughter of Ram Bhaju Singh Mahato. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station in the regard on the statemen of Rinku Devi mother of the deceased. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant. Later the police recover the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Rinku Devi, mother of the deceased said that Heera Lal Singh of GanjBhadasara village under Dinara police station, brother-in-law (sala) of her brother-in-law (devar) had come to the house and so everyone was busy taking care of him and preparations for dinner were undeway. Meanwhile, her husband Ram Bhaju Singh Mahato came home in drunken stage and started quarreling with her. When her daughter Jyoti Kumari came to her rescue, he, in a fury, stabbed her and injured and escaped from the scene. The family members rushed her to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital but she succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital.
