MISCREANTS KILLED A YOUTH, THREW HIS BODY INTO A CANAL IN ROHTAS DISTRICT

SASARAM (RNI) Some unidentified miscreants trashed a youths with iron rod and killed him at Dharupur village under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district in the night and later threw his body in the dried canal from the bridge. The deceased was identified as Sushil Yadav alias Bhuwar Yadav son of Rohan Yadav of Dharupur village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station in this regard on the statement of the father of the deceased. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants on the basis of Call Detail Report (CDR) and location. The deceased had not criminal background. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Bikramganj police station Lalan Kumar said that someone had called Sushil Yadav alias Bhuwar Yadav on mobile and after the call he set out of the house in the late evening not to return. In the morning, the family members searched for him and found his body in the dried canal.

It may be mentioned here that this is the Lalaki Bridge where two youths were shot dead on July 20, 2024 however the police arrested all the miscreants in this regard and had sent them to jail but the police failed to solve two cases so far. Deepak Singh of Varana village was shot dead near Panchmoria village under Bikramganj police station on March 4, 2024 and the police had recovered firearms from the spot and in another incident, the naked body of Akash Kumar Gupta was recovered from a pond near his house at Tenduni village on August 29, 2024 but the police failed to identify whether it was incident or murder so far even after more than a year.
