AN IMPOSTER SI ARRESTED DURING ONGOING HOMEGUARD RECRUITMENT IN BUXAR

BUXAR (RNI) An imposter Sub-Inspector arrested during the ongoing Home Guard Recruitment in Buxar Police Line. The arrested imposter was earlier a police constable in Bihar police who was dismissed by the department for some reason. The arrested imposter was identified as Md. Dhyanchand Ali of Kesath Shivpur village under Navanagar police station.

Md. Dyanchand Ali had pretended to be an SI to make his brother a Home Guard Jawan but the police officers posted at the gate of the Police Line identified him in time. He tried to ran away but his photograph was captured in the CCTV camera and the police chased and caught him. He confessed during interrogation. However, earlier, he had tried to enter the police line by introducing himself as an SI of the Cyber police station of Bhojpur district and showing his face to the policemen who were trying to stop him but the policemen on duty there got suspicious of his activities and without caring about his face, asked for his Identity Card and contacted the Bhojpur police. After which his pretence was exposed. The polie late sent him to jail under judicial custody and further legal proceedings are going on against him.

There has been a ruckus in the past as well. Earlier also the candidates had created ruckus in the selection process of Home Guard. The candidates had alleged rigging in the selection process. The Sadar DSP Dheeej Kumar and other police officials had somehow satisfied them by going to the computer room and showing them the chip. After this, the police this time was alert and the arrest of imposter SI was proof of this.
