The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), the Assistant Director of the Child Protection Unit (Sheohar), and the Labour Enforcement Officer.

During the event, detailed discussions were held regarding the prevention of child labour, child trafficking, and child exploitation. On this occasion, police officers who had performed outstanding work in the fields of child labour eradication and child protection, along with Mohan Kumar (Secretary, Savera Voluntary Organization) and Rohit Singh (Adithi), were honoured with certificates of appreciation. At the conclusion of the program, all officials and stakeholders present pledged to work collectively towards creating a child-labour-free Sheohar and appealed to all sections of society to actively cooperate in protecting children's rights. Addressing the gathering, child rights activists Manish Kumar and Mukund Kumar stated, "World Day Against Child Labour gives us the opportunity to pledge that no child should be forced into labour. It is the responsibility of us all to provide children with education, safety, and a dignified childhood, and the coordinated effort of all stakeholders is essential for this." — Rohit Singh, Program Manager, Adithi Organization. The proceedings were moderated by Mohan Kumar. Representatives from the Adithi organization—Komal Kumari, Shivam Kumar, Ramayan Kumar, and Amit Kumar—also participated in the event.
