CONTROVERY OVER RELIGIONS

ARA--------------------------------You may beat your chest all you want, proclaiming "religion is this" or "religion is that," but the reality is that religion is neither of those things anymore. In recent years—or perhaps it was always the case—religion has become a massive source of profit. Since this is happening in our own time, we raise a hue and cry and heap scorn upon it; but consider this: what good does such scorn actually do? What is destined to happen will happen; rest assured of that.

You might think that the two rupees you donated won't make the Ram Mandir trustees rich—after all, you gave that money to God. Well, if God chose to pass it on to the trustees, there is really no need to make such a fuss.

You lack the stature to receive anything from God, nor are you the kind of person worthy of receiving such a gift. Those who *did* have the stature have already taken their share from the Ram Mandir; that is why I have often said: keep a generous heart and thank God that He made you a giver rather than a taker. Had He made you a taker, you too might have been a Chief Minister by now, sitting on 163 acres of land around the holy city of Ujjain.

Many great souls and religious leaders have said that the giver is greater than the seeker, yet you people never listen to them. Just believe for a moment that you are superior to those others—because you are the ones contributing money to temples, the Chief Minister's fund, and GST, while they are the ones taking it.
