ARA-------------------------Social activist has raised serious questions regarding the Municipal Corporation's operations, alleging a lack of regular garbage collection in areas such as Station Road, Sadar Hospital, Dr. P. Mehra Road, and their vicinities. He stated that garbage piles reaching heights of three to four feet have accumulated in several locations, causing a foul stench and increasing the risk of infection. He further alleged that medical waste is being dumped in the open alongside other types of refuse.

He urged the Municipal Commissioner and senior officials to regularly inspect all 45 wards and engage directly with citizens, while also calling for a more effective and public-friendly grievance redressal system. He demanded a social audit of the Municipal Corporation's sanitation system by an independent agency and action against personnel found negligent in their duties. Will the vision of a "Clean Ara, Beautiful Ara, Green Ara" remain merely a slogan?
