ARA---------------------------The Birsanagar land mafia case is once again in the headlines. This case has not only brought the illegal land trade into the spotlight but also raised serious questions about the past connections and alleged political and administrative patronage associated with the lawyer's murder.

The name of Amulyo Karmakar, known in political circles as "Paltu Ram," has resurfaced at the center of the case. It is alleged that after being released from jail, he has once again taken an active role in illegal land deals. According to sources, this time he has also gained control of parts of the Basti Vikas Samiti.

It is reported that illegally trading government land by signing agreements in the names of relatives has been his long-standing practice. There is widespread speculation about several similar suspicious land deals in Birsanagar. The role of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and the Zonal Office has also come under scrutiny in this entire matter.

Legal experts argue that the court should address the grounds on which the accused in the lawyer's murder case was granted bail, and whether engaging in illegal activities despite the bail conditions is not a violation of the judicial process. Furthermore, there are calls for an investigation into the role of alleged "white-collar" patrons.

Overall, the Birsanagar land mafia case is no longer limited to land, but points to the intertwined nexus between politics, crime, administration, and the judicial process. It remains to be seen whether the district administration and investigating agencies will take strict action in time, or whether the case will once again be buried in files.
