525 CANDIDATES FILED NOMINATIONS FOR DELEGATE SELECTION FOR CPI(ML)’S DISTRICT CONFERENCE

ARA-------------------------Dilraj Pritam, the District Office Secretary of CPI(ML), issued a press release informing journalists that 525 candidates have filed nomination papers for the selection of delegates for the party's 14th District Conference, scheduled to be held on March 23–24 at the Nagari Pracharini Auditorium.

The process of scrutiny of nomination papers and withdrawal of candidacies will be completed on March 17. Subsequently, voting and vote counting will take place on March 19, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Members of the party's Block, Area, Panchayat, and Local Committees, along with all Branch Secretaries, will constitute the electoral college and serve as voters in this election.

Returning Officers have been appointed for all blocks to oversee the election process. This team includes Upendra Bharti for Tarari, Kamlesh Yadav for Jagdishpur, Dilip Kumar for Sahar, Bhola Yadav for Agiaon, Mahesh Ram for Charpokhari, Ajay Singh for Sandesh, Chandradeep Singh for Piro, Chapit Ram for Garhani, Bishnu Thakur for Koilwar, Shivmangal Singh Yadav for Udwantnagar, Harendra Singh for Bihiya+Shahpur, Sudhir Singh for Ara Nagar, Vijay Ojha for Ara Muffasil, and Nand Ji Ram for Barhara; Vijay Yadav will serve as the Deputy Returning Officer.

He stated that CPI(ML) is conducting this election in adherence to democratic processes with the objective of strengthening its organizational structure. At the upcoming District Conference, the party will evaluate the current political landscape and determine the agenda for mass movements to address pressing public issues, while also resolving to intensify resistance against the rising fascist attacks across the country.
