SASARAM---------------------------In Rohtas, Bihar, approximately 50 rounds were fired in a land dispute. One person tragically died in the incident. A video of the incident, showing two groups clashing, is rapidly going viral.
Despite the strict measures being taken by the government to resolve land disputes in Bihar, bloody clashes over land continue unabated. In this series of events, another major incident has come to light from Rohtas, where a bloody conflict erupted over a land dispute. Approximately 50 rounds were fired in the land dispute, resulting in the death of a young man. Police have arrested about a dozen people in connection with the incident.
The entire incident took place in Lala Atmi village under the Nasariganj police station area of Rohtas district. A video has surfaced showing firing and stone-pelting between two groups over a land dispute. In this violent incident, a young man named Arvind Singh was shot dead. The video of the entire incident has caused a stir in the area. The video clearly shows two groups of villagers facing each other and firing at each other.
Weapons are being openly brandished over the land dispute, and women are also seen pelting stones. The area was in a state of chaos during the incident. The police took swift action in the matter, detaining several people and beginning questioning. Several country-made pistols were also recovered from the scene. However, the way weapons were openly used in the land dispute raises serious questions about law and order in the region.
It is being said that there was a land dispute between Lal Babu Singh, Hazari Singh, Kameshwar Singh alias Umesh Master, Mithilesh Kumar, and Arun Kumar for the past several years. The dispute escalated over plowing the field for wheat sowing and turned into a violent clash, involving heavy stone-pelting and firing. Bikramganj ASP Sanket Kumar is personally monitoring the incident. Police say that the accused are being identified based on the video footage, and strict action will be taken against all the culprits soon.
