ARA--------------------------A stir was created in the area on Sunday evening when a woman was found unconscious near the Powerganj Underpass, located within the limits of the city's Nawada Police Station. She was discovered lying near some bushes. A crowd of locals gathered at the scene as soon as news of the incident spread.

According to reports, Manoj Manzil, the former MLA of Agiaon, was walking along this route when he spotted the woman in the bushes. Acting promptly, he informed the local Nawada police about the incident. Upon receiving the information, a police patrol team arrived at the scene and, with the former MLA's assistance, immediately admitted the woman to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where she is currently being treated.

The woman was identified based on an Aadhaar card found in her possession. She is reported to be a resident of Police Colony, Sector 32 (A), Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana district, Punjab. She has been identified as Shivani Singh, the 32-year-old wife of Sumit Ranjan.

Former MLA Manoj Manzil stated that when he saw the woman, her purse was lying nearby. The discovery of a container of *sindoor* (vermilion) and other personal items in the purse has led to speculation that a romantic affair might be involved in the case. However, it remains unclear how the woman from Chandigarh reached Ara and under what circumstances she became unconscious there.

Currently, the Nawada police are monitoring the woman's condition and investigating every aspect of the case seriously. The police state that the full details of the incident and the reasons for her arrival here will only be revealed once she regains consciousness.
