ARA-----------------------------In preparation for the Student-Youth Parliament—scheduled for August 13 at the Veer Kunwar Singh University campus (Katira), Ara, to address issues regarding education and employment in Bihar—AISA and INYSS have intensified their outreach campaigns. These include organizing quizzes across colleges and hostels and conducting mass contact drives in local neighborhoods.

Leaders set to participate include INYSS National President and former Dumraon MLA Ajit Kushwaha; INYSS State Secretary and former Agiaon MLA Shivprakash Ranjan; former JNU President and AISA State President Dhananjay Kumar; and AISA State leader Dipankar Mishra.

AISA District Secretary Jayashankar Prasad and INYSS District Secretary Niranjan Kesri issued a joint press release stating that the student organization AISA and the youth organization RYA (INYSS) are conducting a Student-Youth Parliament campaign focused on education and employment issues in Bihar. The campaign aims to advance the ongoing movement for improving the state's schools, colleges, and universities, as well as the broader education and employment sectors.

Student and youth leaders remarked that the movement—which began as a protest against the insult of unemployed students and youths being labeled as "cockroaches"—has evolved into a nationwide struggle. It now challenges irregularities in the examination system, paper leaks, the arbitrary actions of the NTA, and the reckless disregard for students' futures. Students and youths across the country have intensified their agitation demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, with students and youths from Bihar also participating vigorously in this struggle. Student and youth leaders further stated that the struggle against paper leaks and the corrupt examination system would be intensified by linking it to issues such as the privatization and commercialization of education, fee hikes, the dilapidated state of government schools, the 7.5 CGPA barrier, the erosion of college autonomy, and the demand for dignified employment. They have appealed to everyone to raise their voices on matters concerning education, examinations, and employment, and to participate in large numbers in the 'Student-Youth Parliament' to further accelerate the fight to save education and secure the future.
