BUXAR---------------------------To mark the occasion of India's 80th Independence Day, the Vishwamitra Branch (South Bihar Province) of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Buxar, will organize a National Group Song Competition on August 8, 2026, at Manas Bhawan, located within the M.V. College campus. Hundreds of students from government and private schools across the district will participate in the collective rendition of patriotic songs. Preparations for the event have reached their final stage.

In this regard, a meeting of the Parishad was held on Sunday at Hotel M.G. Residency, presided over by Branch President Varsha Pandey. The meeting reviewed all necessary preparations, including the competition's framework, the formation of various committees, the division of tasks, and coordination with schools.

Addressing the meeting, Varsha Pandey stated that the National Group Song Competition is not merely a cultural event but a powerful medium to awaken a sense of patriotism. She remarked that in the changing social landscape, fostering love for the nation, discipline, a spirit of collectivism, and Indian values ​​among the youth is the need of the hour. Such events strengthen the sense of patriotism and social responsibility in children.

She informed that school teams in large numbers would participate in this competition, which is being held ahead of Independence Day. The collective voices of the children will create an atmosphere of patriotism across the district, and the land of Buxar will be illuminated by the fervor of national consciousness.

Attendees at the meeting—including Secretary Sanjay Rai, Treasurer Manoj Dubey, *Sanskar* (Values) Coordinator Prakash Pandey, Women and Child Development Coordinator Reena Sharma, Service Coordinator Mira Singh, Liaison Coordinator Manju Tiwari, Environment Coordinator Vipin Kumar, as well as Bharat Prasad, Vikas Kaushik, Saroj Tiwari, Amit Pandey, Akhilesh Ji, Harendra Pandey, Saroj Dubey, Ward Councilor Sangeeta Singh, Anand Kumar Pandey, and other members—pledged to make the event successful and historic.

It was decided during the meeting that the competition would be organized with high standards of quality, discipline, and dignity. Urging maximum participation from all government and private schools in the district, the Council expressed confidence that this event would play a pivotal role in conveying the message of patriotism, Indian culture, and social harmony to the masses.
