PATNA--------------------Industries in Bihar are receiving a continuous boost. As part of this momentum, the Industries Department signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 12 industrial units on Saturday, representing investment proposals totaling ₹4,092 crore. The MoUs were signed in Bodh Gaya in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

These agreements—concluded during the launch of the Bihar Integrated Manufacturing City Gaya Limited (BIMCGL) and the curtain-raiser event for 'Bihar Business Connect 2027'—will provide a significant impetus to industrial investment in the state. The 12 investment proposals, for which MoUs were signed today, involve the following entities.

The proposals encompass sectors such as energy, textiles, organic products, automobiles, aluminum, agro-based products, biotechnology, and other industrial domains. Investments in these areas will expand manufacturing activities in Bihar, foster the growth of ancillary industries, and create new employment opportunities. The state government’s objective is to cultivate an investment-friendly environment, encourage entrepreneurs, and strengthen the state’s industrial base.

The state government’s priority is to transform these MoUs into tangible projects, ensuring that the investment proposals translate into industrial output, job creation, and economic growth. To this end, efforts are being accelerated toward industrial development, infrastructure expansion, and close coordination with investors.

Present on the occasion were several dignitaries, including Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi; Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav; Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Dr. Prem Kumar; Minister of Agriculture (and Minister-in-charge for Gaya district) Vijay Kumar Sinha; and Minister of Industries Shreyasi Singh.
