ARA------------------------Mohd. Demand for arrest, compensation and job to a family member in Jafi murder case; Bhai Dinesh said that if action is not taken, there will be a bandh and widespread mass movement in entire Bhojpur.

Grinder/saw. Mo. Regarding the Jafi murder case, former MLA Bhai Dinesh reached Gadhani on Sunday and met the victim's family. He assured the family of every possible struggle to get justice and said that if the accused are not arrested by September 18, then Gadhani will be closed on September 19.

Brother Dinesh said that Mohd. Jafi had tried to save the society by raising his voice against drug addiction. He described his murder as not just the murder of one person, but an attempt to scare the entire society for raising its voice against drug addiction. He demanded the police administration to take action in the matter with seriousness and sensitivity.

He said that if the process of arrest of the killers, speedy trial of the case, proper compensation to the victim's family and giving a government job to a family member is not started by September 18, then Gadhani will be closed on September 19. Even after this, if concrete action was not taken, a warning was given to start a bandh and mass movement in entire Bhojpur.

Bhai Dinesh questioned the role of Charpokhari police station in-charge, accusing him of not taking effective action in the initial phase of the incident. He said that in this regard, after talking to DIG, Dehri, a demand has been made to immediately suspend the station in-charge.

He said that merely suspending the watchman and SI is not enough. The officials responsible for the alleged negligence towards the incident should also be held accountable. He said that efforts should not be made to save senior responsible officers by taking action against small employees.

He said that the aim of the movement is not to go against any person or community, but to secure the society against drugs and crime and to provide justice to the victim's family.

Brother Dinesh said that after the new SP took charge, more than ten incidents have come to light in Bhojpur. He alleged that till now such concrete and effective action has not been seen from the police administration, which would create fear of law among the criminals.

He demanded a complete ban on the trade of drugs like liquor and heroin. According to him, youth are being ruined due to drugs and crime is also being promoted. He said that taking action against drugs should be the primary responsibility of the police administration.

The people of Gadhani allegedly informed brother Dinesh that the accused were threatening to commit two-four more murders. On this, Bhai Dinesh demanded to provide security to the people raising their voice against drugs and the citizens attending the meetings.

He urged the Bhojpur Police Captain to provide necessary security to the prominent people who raised their voice against drugs. He said that despite knowing about the threats, if security and effective action is not taken and any untoward incident happens in future, then the responsibility for it will be on the police administration.

Brother Dinesh said that the fight against drugs is not the fight of any one person, but of the entire society, parents and youth. He assured the victim's family that he will stand with them till they get justice and if needed, the movement will be made wider.

During this, Gadhani block chief Vinod Yadav, RJD leader Bhikhari Ram, Baban Mandal, Charpokhari RJD block president Satyanarayan Singh, Lal Babu Singh, Arun Yadav, Pintu Singh, Mohd. Many people including Noor Alam, Upendra Singh, Manoranjan Yadav, Jogendra Mahato, Santosh Sharma, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Munna Yadav, Mohammad Sonu, W Mian and Muhammad Rameez were present.
