ARA---------------------------An FIR has been registered in connection with the murder of Ram Kumar Singh, a retired Customs officer and president of the Kshatriya Kalyan Sangh. The case was filed based on the statement of the former officer’s son, Amit Kumar (alias Goldy). Fourteen individuals have been named in the FIR, including the then-Station House Officer (SHO) of the Ara Mufassil police station, Inspector Ram Kalyan Yadav; revenue department employee Vishnudev Singh; and media person Manoj Singh (alias Lucky).

Inspector Ram Kalyan, revenue employee Vishnudev Singh, and others are accused of conspiring to commit the murder, while ten individuals—including Manoj Singh (alias Lucky)—are accused of carrying out the shooting. The police have arrested Manoj Singh (alias Lucky) and sent him to jail. Meanwhile, raids are being conducted to apprehend the other accused. A manhunt for the shooters involved in the crime has also been intensified, with operations underway in Bhojpur as well as other districts and states.

In the FIR, Amit Kumar (alias Goldy) stated that on Thursday morning, around 6:00 AM, his father was heading out for his daily walk. After taking his vehicle out, he was in the process of locking the garage when ten individuals—Chandan Singh, Manoj Singh (alias Lucky), Rakesh Kumar Singh, Bhim Singh, Md. Saif Alam, Sudhir Kumar Singh, Amarendra Bahadur Singh, Deepak Kumar Singh, Santosh Kumar Singh, and Jai Prakash Yadav (alias Guddu)—arrived on motorcycles.

Upon arrival, Chandan Singh shot his father in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground. Subsequently, other accused—including Manoj Singh (alias Lucky), Santosh Kumar Singh, Amarendra Bahadur Singh, and Jai Prakash Yadav—also fired shots at his father, one after another.

The FIR further alleges that Police Inspector Ram Kalyan Yadav, revenue employee Vishnudev Singh, Harshit Singh, and Chandni Singh (wife of Chandan Singh), among others, were involved in conspiring to carry out the murder. Nawada Station House Officer (SHO) Kumar Rajnikant stated that the main accused in this case, Manoj Singh alias Lucky, is currently being sent to jail. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the other accused.
