BUXAR-------------------------Maharishi Vishwamitra Mahavidyalaya (MV College), Buxar, successfully organized a national webinar on "Financial Education and Investment Awareness" on Saturday under the joint auspices of SEBI and NSE. The program aimed to promote financial literacy and investment awareness among students, teachers, and the general public.

The program was presided over by the college's Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Krishna Kant Singh. In his address, he stated that financial education is crucial in today's times, as only sound financial knowledge can enable individuals to make safe and sound financial decisions. He praised such informative programs, saying they develop financial understanding among students.

The keynote speaker at the webinar was Aishwarya Jain, Deputy Manager of NSE. In his lecture, he discussed in detail the importance of financial literacy, savings and investments, the basics of the stock market, and the risks associated with investing. Participants were also informed about ways to become informed investors and avoid financial fraud.

On this occasion, Dr. Ajit Kumar Maurya from SEBI also joined the session and provided important information related to financial awareness to the participants. The program coordinator was Dr. Archana Mishra, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, while the organizing secretary was Dr. Aditya Singh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. Their able guidance and efforts ensured the successful completion of the program.

Participants from educational institutions across various states participated enthusiastically in the webinar. A large number of faculty, students, and non-teaching staff from the college were also present. The program was successfully conducted by Dr. Aditya Singh.

At the end of the program, Dr. Archana Mishra expressed her gratitude to all the guests, speakers, and participants, offering a vote of thanks. According to the organizers, this webinar proved to be extremely useful and informative for the participants and contributed significantly to increasing awareness about financial education.
