WAVE OF FAITH SURGES AT THE KUNDWA SHIV TEMPLE

ARA-----------------------------The sacred festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated across the country today with full religious devotion and traditional customs. In this context, the ancient Kundwa Shiva Temple, also known as Kundeshwar Mahadev, located near National Highway 922 (NH-922) in Shahpur, Bhojpur district, is witnessing a remarkable confluence of devotion. Devotees have been arriving at this ancient temple for darshan and worship since the early hours of the morning.

According to religious beliefs, the Kundeshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the major spiritual centers in the region. The temple has been lavishly decorated for the special occasion of Mahashivratri. Since early morning, the temple premises have reverberated with chants of "Har Har Mahadev" and "Om Namah Shivay." Devotees are lining up to perform Jalabhishek (water bath) to Lord Shiva and offer Belpatra (Bel leaves), Dhatura (sweet flowers), and pray for happiness and prosperity.

Considering the large crowd of devotees and the geographical sensitivity of the temple located on the highway, the local police and district administration are fully active. Adequate police force has been deployed to strengthen the security arrangements. Administrative officers themselves are present on the spot and are continuously monitoring crowd control and traffic arrangements, so that the visitors do not face any inconvenience.

Special arrangements have also been made to ensure smooth movement of vehicles on NH-922. Volunteers of the temple committee are also coordinating with the administration and assisting in guiding the devotees. This crowd gathered at Kundwa Shiva Temple is a symbol of unwavering religious faith.
