TWO MISCREANTS ARRESTED WITH FIREARMS

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur Police have successfully solved a case involving an armed robbery and a shooting incident targeting a hotel owner in the Koilwar police station area within 48 hours, arresting two accused individuals. Recovered from the arrested miscreants were an illegal country-made rifle, a cartridge, ₹2,500 in cash (part of the stolen amount), the complainant's original Aadhaar card, and the stolen mobile charger. Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Sadar SDPO-2 Ranjit Singh stated that the arrested accused have been identified as Munna Kumar Rai (a resident of Koilwar) and Abhishek Kumar, alias Modi (a resident of Banpur Toli). He revealed that the criminals who carried out the armed robbery and firing incident against hotel owner Arvind Kumar had conducted prior reconnaissance. Preliminary investigations indicate the involvement of eight criminals in the crime. The police are conducting continuous raids to apprehend the remaining absconding accused. The SDPO stated that a police team, acting swiftly based on technical and human intelligence, solved the case and arrested two accused within 48 hours. The recovered items have been seized, and further action is being taken based on the interrogation of the arrested individuals. Bhojpur Police have asserted that the operation to arrest the other absconding accused is ongoing and that they, too, will be arrested soon.
