ARA---------------------------For the Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan in Tar Panchayat, the site was duly selected, land-related formalities were completed, tenders were issued, and construction had even commenced with the excavation of the foundation. Many villagers sacrificed their land and even their homes for the sake of development. Abruptly halting the construction work under these circumstances is an injustice to the trust and dignity of the villagers.

Today, a large number of villagers staged a peaceful protest amidst the sweltering heat to voice their grievances. They clearly state that halting the project midway—after all official procedures had been completed and construction had already begun—is unjustified.

If the construction work has been halted due to any form of pressure or influence, an impartial inquiry must be conducted. The administration should base its decisions on the law, rules, and public interest, rather than on anyone's connections or lobbying.

In this regard, letters have been sent to the District Magistrate (Bhojpur), Sub-Divisional Officer (Piro), and Circle Officer (Piro), demanding an impartial inquiry and the immediate resumption of construction work at the original site.

Respecting public sentiment, the administration should take a positive decision promptly so that development work is completed on time without discrimination and to prevent any unnecessary tension in the area.
