BUXAR------------------------Acting swiftly during a routine patrol operation, the Murar Police have arrested three youths. The police have seized a stolen water pump set and the motorbike used in the incident from their possession. This action is being hailed as a significant success in the ongoing efforts to control crime in the region.
According to reports, a police team from the Murar Police Station was conducting a night patrol in the area. During this patrol, on the road leading east from Giridhar Baraw, three youths riding a single motorbike were spotted carrying a heavy object under suspicious circumstances.
Upon becoming suspicious, the police team signaled the youths to stop; however, all three attempted to flee. Demonstrating promptness, the police gave chase and apprehended all three individuals a short distance away. A subsequent search led to the recovery of a water pump set from their possession. During interrogation, the youths were unable to provide any satisfactory explanation regarding the pump set. Consequently, the police seized both the pump set and the motorbike (bearing registration number BR 44 W 8798). The arrested accused have been identified as Rahul Kumar (20), son of Manoj Kumar Singh; Nandlal Kumar (22), son of Narad Singh; and Sonu Kumar (25), son of Dashrath Mahto—all residents of Madiya village. All three individuals are currently undergoing intensive interrogation.
The police are now working to ascertain the location from which the recovered pump set was stolen and where the accused intended to sell or dispose of it. The involvement of other individuals in this case is also being investigated. Station House Officer (SHO) Neha Kumari stated that the ongoing campaign against criminals and anti-social elements in the region will continue unabated. Those involved in theft, robbery, or other criminal activities will not be spared under any circumstances. This action taken by the police has bolstered the villagers' sense of security.
