Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao Inaugurates ‘Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar-2025’ in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD NOV 3 (RNI) TelanganaAgriculture Marketing Co-operation and Handlooms &Textiles, Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, inaugurated Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar Exhibition at HMDA Grounds, NTR Marg, near Dr. B. R. Ambedkar statue in Hyderabad on Monday.
As part of marketing support to the artisans, Telangana Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited organizes several marketing programs like Class Bazaars, Gandhi Shilpa Bazaars, Exhibitions within and outside the state.
By inviting artisans from all over the country to exhibit and sell their products. Provides direct marketing support.
The current "Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar- 2025, jointly organized by Telangana Handicrafts Development Corporation and Ministry of Industry, Government of India from 01-11-2025 to 10-11-2025.
Inviting artisans from all over India, the main objective of organizing the current "Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar" is to popularize the handicrafts and textiles of Telangana State and other regions among the art lovers/people of Hyderabad and to create a platform for the artisans to sell their products among the public and develop market linkages with government/private emporia for future supplies.
The crafts on display are as follows:.
Handicrafts: Silver Pichi, Cherial Paintings, Doksha, Lacquer Bangles, Nirmal Dolls, Nirmal Paintings and Furniture, Housewares and other Metal Products, Carpets & Rugs, Floor Coverings, Banjara and Other Embroidery, Pearls, Kalankari, Kashmiri Pals, Chikan Embroidery in Lucknow, Jute Products, B.Kota etc.,
Handlooms: Gadwal, Pochampally, Narayanpet, Siddipet Gollabhama sarees, Mangalagiri, Uppada, Bavarash, Venkatagiri.
There will be more products on display and for sale from all over India.
Expected that around 150 artisans/weavers from across the country will participate in the "Gandhi Shilf Bazaar".
TGHDC Ltd. Chairman Naidu Satyanarayana, Shailaja Ramaiyer IAS Principal Secretary to Government, I&C (H, T&H) Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Athukuri Laksman Rao, Regional Director (H), Southern Regional Office, O/o The Dev.
