ARA----------------------------The soil of Bihiya was steeped in an unwavering spirit of patriotism as the memory of the immortal martyrs—who laid down their lives for the motherland—was honored. The occasion marked the Martyrdom Day of 'Shaheed-e-Azam' (The Great Martyr) Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar. Held at the local Shri Radha Krishna Guest House, this dignified gathering not only commemorated the sacrifices of the past but also infused a new energy of nationalism into the present generation. The program was presided over by former Headmaster Rameshwar Singh, while the proceedings on stage were skillfully anchored by Sachchidanand Singh. The assembly commenced with the offering of floral tributes to the portraits of the immortal martyrs, following which the entire premises reverberated with slogans of 'Inquilab Zindabad' (Long Live the Revolution). The gathered crowd paid homage to these brave sons of the nation by observing a two-minute silence. Speakers elaborated on how these revolutionaries, at the tender age of just 23 or 24, managed to shake the very foundations of British rule. The India of today stands upon the bedrock of their sacrifices. The speakers emphasized that, in this era of mobile phones and the internet, the new generation must not forget the history of their great revolutionaries. At the conclusion of the assembly, a solemn pledge was taken to observe this Martyrdom Day with the same grandeur every year, ensuring that the flame of nationalism never dims. The event witnessed the presence of hundreds of youths and local citizens, who took an oath to fight against social evils and to walk the righteous path illuminated by the martyrs. The team led by Convener Shivkumar and Media In-charge Raju Ranjan played a pivotal role in the successful organization of this commemorative assembly. Several dignitaries—including Comrade Uttar Kumar Gupta, Prof. Rajendra Maniyar, Sanjay Kumar, Sant Radhe Prasad, Shailendra Kumar, and Yogendra Singh—shared their thoughts and addressed the gathering.
