ARA-----------------------In accordance with the directives of the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, Tanay Sultania, the District Cell for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) in Bhojpur approved applications related to battery-operated tricycles and artificial limbs/assistive devices under the 'Sambal' scheme—the Chief Minister's Scheme for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Upon reviewing the applications received online, a total of 69 applications for battery-operated tricycles were granted approval.

Additionally, three applications received for electric wheelchairs—under the category of artificial limbs and assistive devices—were also approved. These devices are expected to prove immensely beneficial for persons with disabilities, facilitating easier mobility in their daily lives and enabling them to become more self-reliant. The District Magistrate directed that, following the verification of necessary certificates and documents, the approved beneficiaries be promptly provided with the devices through the Buniyad Centre, Bhojpur, thereby ensuring convenience and self-reliance for persons with disabilities.
