ARA-------------------------This railway section is considered extremely busy, with hundreds of trains passing through day and night. Due to the closure of the level crossing and the incomplete construction of the foot overbridge, people are forced to cross the railway tracks, risking their lives.

The construction of the proposed light foot overbridge over the eastern railway level crossing at Ara Junction, located on the Danapur-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya railway section, seems to have hit another roadblock. The railway had set a target of commissioning this bridge by January 4, 2026, and construction work had also begun accordingly. However, the sudden halt in work has not only stalled the construction process but has also dashed the hopes of the local people.

This railway section is considered extremely busy, with hundreds of trains passing through day and night. Due to the closure of the level crossing and the incomplete construction of the foot overbridge, people are forced to cross the railway tracks, risking their lives. Every day, children, the elderly, and women are seen crossing the tracks, putting their lives at risk, raising the possibility of a major accident at any time.

Hundreds of thousands of people from hundreds of villages are directly affected by this problem. People say that when the work on the foot overbridge started, they were hopeful that they would soon get a safe passage and their daily troubles would end. But the work stopping once again has caused deep resentment among the people. Local residents say that they are forced to cross the railway tracks at great risk.
